AIM OF THE PROJECT

Dear Friend, In proposing to you an experience in one of our communities in Africa, we are offering you an opportunity to come to know what kind of people missionaries are, and what it is that inspires them to live and work with the people in Africa.

And so we invite you to come and see
for yourselves and stay with them for a while. We believe it is important that this experience takes place in an international group, and that you discover the beauty of Africa and its people and so deepen your own faith and commitment. In short, the aim is to encourage you to open up to other cultures and religions in Ghana.

MEANS TO ACHIEVE OUR AIM

In order to realise this, you will be living with the missionaries in their local environment. They will introduce you to the people in the surrounding.
In this way you will get to know a little the people's way of life.

As you are coming from different European countries, you will form an international group. In Ghana you will meet international communities of the Missionaries of Africa (M.Afr.) and of the Missionary Sisters of O.L.of Africa. (MSOLA).

In order to be as well prepared as possible there will be a preparatory weekend,
in which you will get to know your travelling companions.
Another step in the preparation is to learn about the country of Ghana, its people and its culture, its history, its politics and economics, its social life and religion.
